How AI parsing works

Doft uses AI to read broker rate confirmations and turn them into structured loads — broker, rate, stops, dates, equipment, and reference numbers — so you don't retype anything.

The review step

The AI never creates a load silently. Each parsed rate confirmation goes to the AI review screen, where the extracted fields sit next to the original document. You confirm, edit, or reject.

  • Approve — the load moves onto your dispatch board.
  • Edit a field — correct any value inline; your correction is saved.
  • Reject — discard a bad parse (for example, a document that wasn't really a rate confirmation).

When it gets something wrong

AI is very good but not perfect. If a field is off:

  1. Click the field on the review screen and fix it. The source document stays visible so you can double-check against the original.
  2. If the whole document was misread, use Re-parse to run it again, or Reject and enter the load manually.

Your edits help us measure accuracy over time. When in doubt, trust the original document over the extracted value.
